Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
Zensity helps you focus by blocking distractions and tracking your deep work. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it minimal on purpose — we don't sell your data, and we don't track you around the web.
1. Who we are
Zensity (“Zensity,” “we,” “us”), a service of Lambtor LLC, provides a focus workspace — a timer, ambient backgrounds and sounds, analytics, and a browser extension that blocks distracting sites during your focus sessions. This policy covers our website, web app, and browser extension. Questions? Reach us through our contact form.
2. Information we collect
Account information
- Your email address — required to sign in (via a one-time code or Google sign-in).
- An optional display name (e.g. from Google sign-in).
Your focus data
- Focus sessions — start/end time, duration, the category and type (focus or break) of each session.
- Preferences — your settings blob: theme, background, timer configuration, categories, audio choices, and your block list. Stored so your setup syncs across devices.
- Uploaded backgrounds (Pro) — images you upload as custom backgrounds.
Blocking & the browser extension
If you install the Zensity browser extension, then during an active focus session it checks the website you’re visiting against your own block list to enforce blocking. It may record a distraction attempt — which blocked site you tried to open and when — so we can show it back to you in your stats. The extension does not log your general browsing history, does not read page contents, and does not sell or share your browsing activity. Block-list checks happen on your device.
Payment information
Zensity Pro payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that. We store a Stripe customer/subscription identifier and your plan status (Free or Pro) and renewal date.
Technical information
Standard server logs (e.g. IP address and request metadata) used transiently to operate and secure the service. We do not build advertising profiles.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the workspace — run timers, sync preferences, render your chosen ambiance, and enforce your block list.
- To show you your analytics (focus hours, streaks, Focus Score, category breakdowns, distraction attempts).
- To process subscriptions and manage your plan.
- To send you sign-in codes and essential account emails, and — only if you opt in — product updates.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
4. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal data. We share only what’s needed with service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
- Resend — delivering sign-in codes and account emails.
- Google — if you choose Google sign-in.
- Railway — application hosting and our database.
- Cloudflare R2 — storage for background assets and your uploads.
- Tolt — our affiliate program: if you arrive through an affiliate’s referral link, Tolt records that referral so the affiliate can be credited for a resulting subscription.
- PostHog — privacy-friendly product analytics (page views and in-app events like starting a focus session) so we can understand how Zensity is used and improve it. It runs first-party, doesn’t store analytics data on your device, and isn’t used to track you across other websites.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Zensity and its users.
5. Cookies & local storage
We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in (an authentication token) and to cache your preferences. If you reach us through an affiliate’s referral link, our affiliate provider (Tolt) sets a referral cookie so a resulting subscription can be attributed to that affiliate; it identifies the referral, not your browsing habits. Aside from that, we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and focus data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except records we must retain for legal, tax, or billing purposes (e.g. Stripe transaction records).
7. Your rights & choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, use our contact form and we’ll respond within the time required by applicable law. We don’t sell personal information.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords aren’t used — sign-in is via one-time codes or Google. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9. Children
Zensity isn’t directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
10. International users
We operate from the United States, and your information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers where required.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
